About Nicola Thompson

Action and art, outdoors, family, philosophy, travel and adventure. My career began as a PE and Art teacher in Higher Education, followed by raising 4 sons and a daughter with my husband, during which time I returned to university several times and have exhibited and sold my art work in England and France. In 2017 I have commenced work on a series of stone and bronze sculptures and continue with installations in our woodland garden with the theme of 'Safe Places'. Since 2015 I have opened our gardens with the National Garden Scheme with Art, Sculpture, Meditation and Art Classes, the act of sharing enriches my life and creativity is a necessity. B Ed.
