About Nicola Thompson

Action and art, outdoors, family, philosophy, travel and adventure. My career began as a PE and Art teacher in Higher Education, followed by raising 4 sons and a daughter with my husband, during which time I returned to university several times and have exhibited and sold my art work in England and France. In 2017 I have commenced work on a series of stone and bronze sculptures and continue with installations in our woodland garden with the theme of 'Safe Places'. Since 2015 I have opened our gardens with the National Garden Scheme with Art, Sculpture, Meditation and Art Classes, the act of sharing enriches my life and creativity is a necessity. B Ed. THE GARDENS OF WARTON HALL ARE NOW CLOSED FOR 2018 THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED THE NATIONAL GARDEN SCHEME HERE IN OUR GARDENS WE SO ENJOYED YOUR COMPANY HERE AND THE GARDENS HAVE BEEN TRULY BLESSED BY ALL YOUR GOOD ENERGY AND HAPPINESS......SUNSHINE WARMED THE 5 DAYS WE WERE OPEN AND TODAY THANKFULLY THE RAIN IS WATERING THE TREES AND THE BLUEBELLS.
